Meet us at MIPIM 2017

The Conisbee team will be attending the annual MIPIM conference in Cannes, held this year from the 14th-17th March. For your chance to meet up with one of the team, please contact Samantha Skinner.

‘Don’t Move, Improve!’

Working in collaboration with Lipton Plant Architects, our scheme ‘Park House’ was shortlisted for an NLA ‘Don’t Move, Improve!’ Award and recognised in the national press; featured on the front cover of Bricks & Mortar in the Times.

The aim of the project was to provide better connections with the garden, between upstairs and downstairs, and to bring more light into the residence. By removing the rear wall on the ground floor of the house, and replaced it with the two-storey glass extension, it offers residents views between its various levels and out to the garden. For more information about the scheme check out the NLA’s free exhibition from 27 January to 29 March.

New Associates appointed

Conisbee is pleased to announce the promotion of Denis Kealy and Nigel Nicholls to the role of Associate. Both have proven skills and experience working both as part of a structural design team and as a lead engineers on a wide range of construction projects including residential, commercial, public amenities, educational, and industrial building types. In addition Nigel has worked on numerous theatre refurbishment projects, many of which are listed, for commercial theatre companies as well as Local Authorities.

Their appointments will strengthen the evolving management structure of the business and provide two new structural engineering teams. Congratulations to them both.
