RIBA East Midlands – Winners!

After the RIBA awards ceremony on the 27th April, Conisbee’s scheme was declared a winner! Designed by Ashworth Parkes Architects, Garden Buildings in Warmington won the RIBA East Midlands Award 2016.

RIBA judges commented: “These beautifully crafted spaces each have a distinct character reflected in material usage and detailing, working on multiple levels to form a beautiful, elegant ‘extension’ to the house that sits perfectly in the landscape, whilst opening up and exploiting the views from the main house to the paddock and meadow beyond”.

The awards were featured on the BBC and the regional winners will now be considered for the RIBA National Award, which will be announced in June.

Skydive for Macmillan

On Friday 11th July Conisbee’s Dave Richards, will take part in a team skydive event alongside some good friends at Paragon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.  Their courageous efforts will see them fall 15000ft in a bid to help raise money for the charity which helps thousands of cancer sufferers every year by providing inspiration and advice in their hour of need.
