Somerleyton Road plans put local communities centre stage

With thanks to all the local people and community organisations that helped develop the Somerleyton Road scheme over the last seven years, we’re excited to announce that a planning application has now been submitted. This could see more than £100 million invested in a corner of Brixton town centre that is largely under-utilised.

For more information and updates on the scheme please visit the blog – http://futurebrixton.org/somerleyton/somerleyton-road-plans-in/

Conisbee does Amsterdam

A highlight in the Conisbee social calendar, this month the team took part in the annual weekend away study trip, jumping on-board the Eurostar and whizzing across to Amsterdam for some much deserved rest and relaxation. Exploring the city; which resembles a spiders web, with canals radiating out in concentric rings and little footbridges linking everything together; the office competed in architectural tours (on foot and by bike), scavenger hunts and photography and sketching competitions, before sampling the night life in one of Europe’s best loved capitals!

Top 150 Consultants

With a growth in team and work load for 2015, the hard work over the past year has paid off with a spot on this year’s Building Magazines list of the Top 150 consultants in the Construction industry. Competing against Architects, QS’s, engineers and project managers, the practice features at 118 as a new entrant to the list read by over 41,443 professionals every week. Results are based on staff recruitment, wage patterns, areas of work, margins, wage expectations and number of chartered staff in each respective discipline. For more information visit the Building Magazine website.

A great night in Norwich

A big thank you to all those that attended Conisbee Norwich’s Drinks Reception last night. With a packed bar and live music from a resident pianist, the street was alive with the bustle from the crowds that joined us at Platform Twelve to celebrate another year of work in East Anglia. ‘Cheers’ to all that made the night so enjoyable.

Autumn Reception, Norwich

This Thursday, the Conisbee team in Norwich will be taking over the Platform Twelve Piano Bar, as they toast to another successful year of growth in the East of England. Coinciding with the launch of All Saints Green, a large student accommodation development in conjunction with Carson + Partners, DBK and Bidwells, the team have much to celebrate and would love to see you there.
